Electronic Tolling
Recent years have seen the development of barrier-free systems of electronic toll charging. FELA Management has pioneered electronic toll charging with the installation of the Swiss LSVA system. Now, a number of systems using a variety of technologies have already been installed throughout Europe and the world.
However, these systems are not fully compatible, leading to a situation in which cross boarder traffic requires multiple OBUs in a vehicle. We are working closely with industry and the EU to supply interoperable OBUs, which work in all European Toll contexts.
We are the specialist for design, manufacturing of and services for On-Board Units for Electronic Toll Charging (ETC). Our range of OBUs support all existing as well as future ETC Systems based on DSRC 5.8GHz, Infrared DSRC, GNSS, Cellular Communication as well as Smart Card Technologies.
