Throughout the years, a number of Projects have investigated ways to optimise and harmonise Electronic Toll Charging, with a special focus on all aspects of interoperability between existing and upcoming systems and flexibility of system implementation and tolling schemes.

FELA have contributed to a number of EU sponsored as well as national projects, like the EU Project RCI, the EU Project INITIATIVE, the EU Project CESARE , the UK Project LRUC, the EU Project CARDME, the EU Project MEDIA and the EU Project ENTERPRISE. The experience and know-how gained in this projects have significantly influences the design of our OBUs and our Infrastructure and Enforcement products as well as our Services.
